One of several police officers suing the city, its current and former chief and members of the department's command staff has been placed on administrative leave, his lawyer said.

Sgt. Vincent Riotto, a 19-year veteran, was ordered to turn in his department-issued gun on Monday and not return to work until he undergoes a psychological evaluation, according to his attorney, Mark Frost.
