Payne depicting Joe and the teachers unions as Nazis. Edgy.

    1. Suki   13 years ago

Are the union Nazis implied or skillfully hidden in the picture?

      1. Fist of Etiquette   13 years ago

Grate Skools is German for "Heil Hitler!"

        Tenure ?ber Alles!

        1. Pound. Head. On. Desk.   13 years ago

          Job tenure: "Der Betriebszugeh?rigkeit."
Gotta love the German language. No wonder they had a habit of chronically spilling all over Eurasia. They needed Lebensraum for their words.

          1. Ramjet   13 years ago

            Das ist wahr.

    2. $park?   13 years ago

You know who else was depicted as Nazis?

      1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

        Leni Riefenstahl?

      2. Rich   13 years ago

        Prince Harry?

        1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

          #WINNING!

        2. Apatheist ?_??   13 years ago

          Puh Puh Prince Harry

      3. wareagle   13 years ago

        Boooosh?

        1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

ALSO WINNING. Extra style point for correct spelling.

      4. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

        Max Mosley?

    3. Scarecrow Repair   13 years ago

      Left-handed at that. Nice.

  2. Bee Tagger   13 years ago

Is this a trailer for National Treasure 3? Benjamin Gates tracks the gold FDR confiscated to a public high school in Detroit?

  3. Bee Tagger   13 years ago

    Also, needs more potatoes.

  4. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

Hey Payne, you spelled "great" and "schools" wrong, and used the incorrect version of "to". Who's your editor? You should get a new one.

    1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

He also misspelt federashun and teechers. Not that Joe Biden would notice

      1. Suki   13 years ago

No fair giving Joe spelling tests longer than three letters.

  5. Restoras   13 years ago

    Bok. You made me chuckle.

  6. Longtorso   13 years ago

No, even w/ the new format, Payne still brings the pain. I did like the crap on the margins forcing the cartoon down to where you need to page down to see it. Protecting users from their own stupidity if they hit a Payne link.

      Ditto this

  7. WTF   13 years ago

Wow, I've never seen that joke before.

  8. Sy   13 years ago

ITS FUNNY CUZ I DONT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT

  9. Whiterun Guard   13 years ago

When did Paul Newman replace his left arm with a beige pitchfork?

    1. General Butt Naked   13 years ago

When he lost his thumb in the Great Vinaigrette Fire of aught-two.

      1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

        +1 dressing

    2. Rich   13 years ago

      "Paul Newman"?!

With the hairplugs and flashy smile, Henry has no need to label our gaffin' veep.

      1. General Butt Naked   13 years ago

Explain the pitchfork arm then, smartguy.

        1. Rich   13 years ago

          A tool for maintaining Amtrak.

          1. General Butt Naked   13 years ago

Well, we know about Joe Biden. What about the arm, man?

            1. Scruffy Nerfherder   13 years ago

Forget about the arm, what's the deal with the War of the Worlds Martian ship posing as a microphone?

              1. Rich   13 years ago

A *microphone*? I thought it was a cattail.

            2. Rich   13 years ago

              Artistic license.

  10. Longtorso   13 years ago

New pics for the next SWAT article

    The best one

  11. sage   13 years ago

    1. $park?   13 years ago

Seriously. For instance, who is the guy at the podium?

  14. $park?   13 years ago

The good news is, the doors to this school have been sheetrocked over so nobody has to go in anymore.

    1. Rich   13 years ago

It'll just get burned down on Devil's Night anyway.

  15. Troy muy grande boner   13 years ago

    I give this an A-.

    1. General Butt Naked   13 years ago

      Grade inflation.

    2. Auric Demonocles   13 years ago

      The worst grade imaginable.

      1. LTC(ret) John   13 years ago

        A solid B+?

        1. Auric Demonocles   13 years ago

          I can't even imagine that.

  16. Rich   13 years ago

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

    Script: https://apis.google.com/_/...

    1. invisible furry hand   13 years ago

      the suspense is killing me

      1. Rich   13 years ago

I'm afraid letting the script complete will automatically sign me up for Schemer.

  17. Longtorso   13 years ago

Henry Payne perfectly captures the hypocrisy of Vice President Joe Biden's recent trip to the Detroit public school system.

We'll be the judge of that.

  18. Brian from Texas   13 years ago

Is their anybody even still living in Detroit to greet Mr. Biden or did they have to bus them in from elsewhere?

    1. Bucky   13 years ago

the guy who is bulldozing the homes still lives there...
and wears his "Shovel Ready" t-shirt proudly...

      1. Francisco d Anconia   13 years ago

Does he break the windows before bulldozing homes? I hear that helps.

  19. scaliwag   13 years ago

Why must I be tolerant of your lifestyle choices but you do not have to be tolerant of my religious choices?

    1. General Butt Naked   13 years ago

Because you suck. Trust me, it's for your own good.

    2. Libertymike   13 years ago

That's just how some folks fill their chickens.

      1. Bucky   13 years ago

        ...choke their chickens.
        fify

    3. Tonio   13 years ago

So much fail. Sexual orientation is not a choice; religion is. It's not about their religious choices, it's about their funding groups which want to outlaw homosexual behavior (not just same sex marriages) and divorce and porn.

      Also, wrong thread, Poindexter.

  20. ant1sthenes   13 years ago

They shouldn't have let Biden write the sign himself. Now they look like idiots.

  21. Loki   13 years ago

So we're supposed to believe that people who can't spell "great" and "schools" correctly would get the much harder words american, federation, and president right? I can only suspend my disbelief so much.

  22. Almanian's Evil Twin   13 years ago

HAH! This was already in Detroit News, so I got to see it earlier this week and not laugh! Now I've wasted time coming here and seeing it and not laughing AGAIN, after scrolling through all the shit on the page to get to the cartoon.

    I've PWNED myself

    *sad face*

  23. Gindjurra   13 years ago

Heh. Grate schools? No wonder so many kids slip through the cracks in Detroit.
