Attention Portland, Oregon-Area Reasonoids! TONIGHT!! Doherty talking Ron Paul's rEVOLution at Powell's on Burnside, Friday June 8 at 7:30 p.m.
You've (probably) read me talking about Ron Paul here--now see and hear me do it in person at the wonderful store Powell's (America's book wonderland) in Portland, Oregon, and tell me what you really think.
It's free and open to all, even Hit and Run commenters.
These things tend to be more about freewheeling audience interaction and less about me just reading from the book to you, so come prepared with your own thoughts about all things Ron Paul.
It's great if you buy a book, but not an obligation. Freedom is popular, as Ron Paul says.
WHAT: I talk about and sign copies of Ron Paul's Revolution: The Man and the Movement He Inspired.
WHERE: Powell's City of Books,
1005 W Burnside
Portland, OR 97209
WHEN: 7:30 p.m. on Friday June 8
Powell's City of Books web site calender.

You know who else wrote a book?
C.S. Lewis?
Alt text: Never give up. Never surrender.
alt-text: BUY ME GOD DAMMIT! BUYYYYYY MEEEEEE!
Well, the notice is a little short. But I might be able to make it.
Be sure to grab a drink at Living Room Theaters, first. Then afterwards go round the corner, up a few blocks and check out the awesomeness that is Pro Guitar Shop. Man, I love that city. No sales tax, too.
Ugh, that would require me to actually go inside Portland. It is only comparable to certain Tatooine towns for being a hive of scum and villainy. The only good thing is the no sales tax and tons of strip clubs.
I'll be giving a talk on school choice to the Salem 9-12 group this Friday evening, but for those of you stuck in Portland, I'm sure that this will be next best thing to do.
How exactly does one pronounce that rEVOLution bullshit?
1) Arr
2) Eve
3) Oh!
4) Lotion. Er...LOOOshun
Amirite?
How exactly does one pronounce that rEVOLution bullshit?

Just a little tip from me to you, Mr. Doherty - if you're selling a book, you should market it. Don't be shy - I'd post about it every day here at H'n'R. But that's me.
You're welcome.
Give these guys a break. This is their box of pencils on the streetcorner. They gotta hawk their shit. Alimony and shit ain't cheap.
I have *TWO* copies of the "Declaration of Independents".
But they still posted about it eery day, so I learned...
Maybe when you purchase their book, they could give you a secret URL for Reason which would filter out the book-promotion posts.
Doherty you bastard, making me miss Powells. That place is just teh awesome.
These days the ground is too hot in the politician world.
