Romney Wins Maryland, Wisconsin and Moscow on the Potomac
Mitt Romney won Republican primaries in and out of the Beltway tonight.
Maryland, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia all went for the former Massachusetts governor.
More delegate math to help you sleep.
Former Keystone State Sen. Rick Santorum says the campaign, like Detroit, is only at halftime.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is headed for the Golden State.
Last-place candidate Newt Gingrich is pledging to stay in the race.
As Romney closes in on the nomination, Republicans can be expected to coalesce around a strategy of depicting President Barack Obama as a far-leftist who insists on blaming the political opposition for his own failures.
Obama has deftly moved to parry this strategy by denouncing revanchist enemies of the proletariat, calling for a purge of the kulaks upholding the laws of the petty bourgeoisie and pledging to deliver the workers from expropriation of surplus labor value by the plutocrats.

I wish this weren’t so true. I keep waiting to hear, “how many divisions does the Supreme Court have?”
He’s a Democrat, shouldn’t it be “John Roberts has made his decision; now let him enforce it!” (Or, if you’re a pedant, “the decision of the Supreme Court has fell still born, and they find that they cannot coerce Georgia to yield to its mandate,” although perhaps there’s a clever play on words with mandate to be made somehow.)
After Obama’s attack on the courts comparing him to Roosevelt has become much more apt.
Of course, the real irony here is that Obama has been a wholly-owned minion of the plutocrats since his days as a larval Chicago machine apparatchik.

This is, like, the worst election ever.
Off topic but funny: interviews with hipsters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Just a word of caution, these people are infuriating. I might wear skinny jeans but I got nothing on these fucks.

Was that guy’s name “Hummus”? Jesus Christ.
The second and third videos are even more hairpulling. Wait til you hear where their money comes from.
That said, I would wouldn’t mind smashing 3 or 4 of the girls.
“First of all, I don’t like the term ‘conquest’.”
Haven’t watched the vids yet, guessing trust funds.
“It feels like a bad date.”
Truer words have never been spoken, honey. Can we find the *cough* creators of said videos and smash their recording equipment into small pieces onto their skulls? Just to be sure that this doesn’t ever, erer happen again, of course.
Call it my Precautionary Principle.
OK, I finally made it past the :45 mark, somehow, and realize now that the interviewees are being mocked, rather than celebrated.
We can just smash the equipment over their heads instead.
Wearing skinny genes should be an offense punishable by a public flogging.
Unless you’re female. And are actually skinny.
It’s the tween revolution, ages 10 to 35 or so.
Obama’s constituency in 2012:
Blacks
Union Thugs
Hipsters
Am I missing anyone?
Judging from the yard signs in Potomac, MD, which is one of the richest areas, in one of the richest counties(Montgomery)in one of the richest states, Maryland, all solidly blue, you should add rich people to the list.
Rent-seeking scum and welfare dependents.
Which, in these latter days, is probably enough to give him a majority.
I didn’t find them infuriating. It’s not like I have to listen to them, after all.

One Mitt to rule them all, one Mitt to find them,
One Mitt to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Otrthodoxy where the Media lies.

I very rarely laugh out loud in this early in the morning (don’t want to wake up the kids), but I couldn’t help myself at this. Bravo.
I should wait for the Morning Links, but here:
Local girl lied about 2001 rape; father set free
“[The prosecutor] said Cassandra Kennedy will not be prosecuted for her apparent lies about her father, partly because prosecutors do not want to discourage people in similar circumstances from coming forward….
“”There should be no indictment of the system,” [the prosecutor] said.”
http://tdn.com/news/local/loca…..f887a.html
I can’t even finish reading that. Disgusting.
Baur said Cassandra Kennedy will not be prosecuted for her apparent lies about her father, partly because prosecutors do not want to discourage people in similar circumstances from coming forward.
You mean that if other fake victims want to make up a story, they don’t want to discourage it? What the fuck?
(and yes, I know what they’re trying to say, it just seems really messed up in this specific circumstance)
Funny how the SHeeple fall for the lies year after year, will they eve learn? Probably not.

ROMNEY11!111!!
In a local DC primary, Obama’s role model Marion Barry (former community organizer and four term mayor before he was convicted of drug possession) easily won the Democrat nomination for re-election to his City Council seat.
“Moscow on the Potomac”, nice one! I usually use “Mordor on the Potomac” when referring to DC. Now I’ll switch between “Mordor on the Potomac” and “Moscow on the Potomac”.
People here have stopped discussing the GOP presidential nomination race, so I guess it’s over, huh? Even though most of the more “conservative” states have yet to elect their delegates?
I liked that “last place candidate” dig at Newt. Ron Paul has cleaned his clock in the majority of states so far.
