Watch the Final Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano Tonight, feat. Nick Gillespie
I'm greatly honored and deeply saddened to be part of the last episode of Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano. The show airs on Fox Business at 8pm ET and reruns later in the evening as well. You will not want to miss his end-of-show commentary, which is certainly a speech for the ages. Go here for more details.
Matt Welch gives some background on the show's cancellation here.
Freedom Watch was great in its early webcast days and it remained absolutely the greatest "daily dose" of liberty ever to grace the small screen so far. On behalf of Reason, I'd like to take a moment to thank the Judge and producers such as George Szucs and Patrick McMenamin for all they did to heighten the visibility of our staffers and broaden the reach of our ideas. Far more important, I'd like to thank them for all they did to inject a truly alternative viewpoint into ongoing debates about politics, culture, and ideas. Along with the weekly Stossel show (which will continue on Fox Business), Freedom Watch was unapologetically libertarian and also one of the most wide-ranging and provocative news programs anyone could want.
The Judge will continue to grace many Fox News and Fox Business programs. And he will certainly continue to appear in the pages of Reason magazine, Reason.com, and Reason.tv, where he has already done so much to further the debate about freedom and liberty. Read his Reason archive here and watch the most recent of our video interviews with him below.

"Watch the final freedom watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano."
We're fucked fucked, aren't we?
Proper fucked, Tommy.
Oh, you mean "dog." 🙂

... always nice to see the invisible hand of the market at work. 🙂
Sad part is the low ratings. Guess too few give a fuck about diminishing freedom.
A "this" to everything Nick said.
"We're all fucked. Peace, I'm out."
*drops the mic, exits off the front of the stage*
God damn, I need some pussy right about now.
So long, judge.
Not pro-war enough. I look forward to the day of his return.
I've always admired his hair.
Which seems to be slowly moving down his forehead, eventually consuming his entire face.
Tay Zonday also seems to be a victim of this.
So was Rita Hayworth, before the studio had her hairline raised.
Did I ever tell you my dream about Charles Darwin, Richard Dawkins, and Judge Napolitano and a pie?
Now there is a dude that really knows what tiem it is. WOw.

Guys, seriously, what are we going to do if Santorum becomes the GOP candidate? I'm looking into seppuku.
Actually, Santorum is the best of the non-Paul GOP candidates.
It's going to be a shitty 4 years for gays, lesbians, and bisexuals though. Too bad Obama didn't do anything for them during his term.
I would say he is the worst. He's not for limited government on anything, economic, social or foreign policy.
He's an admitted communitarian. That's the opposite of libertarian on the political map, so it will be a shitty 4 years for us. And gays. And Iranians. I would say gay Iranians, but there are none, and if there were, it's hard to imagine their year getting any shittier than past few decades.
Vote Santorum! It's for your own good.
I can't see that happening. Santorum is just having another little surge. He should disappear shortly.
I'm surprised that Romney is the likely nominee. I thought that any number of people could've beaten him, but so many didn't even bother running.
Hell, I might have considered a "lesser-of-evils" argument if Christie had run.
He'd have easily won the nomination. Interesting on many levels that he didn't run.
Also, I'd have liked to watch the Democrats attack him for his weight.
I was also hoping for Mitch Daniels.
Agreed, although Mitch Daniels looks a bit too much like ESPN's John Clayton to get elected.

That, and I think he and his wife don't want their marital history dragged through the public eye.
His marital history kept him from running, but I don't know that it would prevent his election.
what are we going to do?
The same thing you'll do if Ron Paul becomes the candidate: wake up from your dream, scratch your balls and go back to sleep.
And you will do what?
Lew Rockwell considers The Judge to be one of his golden boys of freedom, it's probably causing his panties to wad up knowing a Kochtachular Reasonoid is appearing on the very last show.
Hey, Toyota is getting rid of the Camry. . . Too successful. Replacing it with a re-run of a concept car they call the "Pinto."
I hope it goes back to being an internet-only show. It was really great in its early days.
Yup. Five hours a week was maybe stretching the material he had to work with, but five half-hour podcasts would be just right, and shouldn't cost much to produce.

The volume of the Judge's voice seems a few decibels lower tonight.
That's what DeMint looks like? Who have I been picturing all this time?
Oh, everyone thinks their time is End Times. This isn't the most important election of our time. There will be plenty of time to get our fiscal house in order when we're a smoking ruin.
Double Mint is pushing his book bigtime. While I don't agree with the Democratic platform, Demint is blind to his own party's big government tendencies.
GILLESPIE IN THE HOUSE.
Nick thinks Obama is going to win in November? Electorally, I don't see it.
i agree with you. For Obama to win, at least one person must approve of the last four years and actually vote. I'm predicting: Obama: 0, Other Guy > 0.
Nick going triple black, nice.
Gillespie dumping all over the Republicans with the Judge's full support, and we're wondering why Fox cancelled Freedom Watch?
Gillespie just went full KMW. He just practically said he would move to Canada if Ron Paul is elected president.
no he didn't. spoof?
Well, he said he didn't think Ron Paul will be elected, and we all know that means we need to freak out on Reason.
isee
Do you? DO YOU?
IDOOOOOIDOOOOOOO
It doesn't matter now if final Maine results match the AP projections or not. Romney will get money out of this whole thing now.
is jack hunter still writing for the city paper. he could do better.
The kid is spinning so hard right now I'm surprised he isn't turning green.
Wait a minute, that was the opening to the show. Does the Judge always do the opening fifteen minutes in? No wonder Fox cancelled it. That had to confuse the Fox audience. O'Reilly would never do that. Or maybe he would, I never really watched the Factor.
I don't expect to collect Social Security, if that makes you feel any better, Judge.
Be careful, Judge. Rand can't rip on Romney too harshly. Rand has to be a Republican Senator working with a Romney Administration.
The Judge is talking about a third party candidate, and talking TO a third party candidate??? Talk about burning your bridges there at Fox!
On the other hand, the video display of Johnson is very unflattering. Maybe the Judge knows which side his bread is buttered on, after all.
"If the Republicans were true to small government, I wouldn't be in this at all."
Good summation by Johnson.
The protesters in Oakland will eventually have tenure?
Not everyone wanted the Greeks to move to austerity. Obviously.
He's putting the other panelists in a position to argue against infrastructure.
His final show and they made the Judge cut their mics.
Are my shoes. go away with your yardsticks.
A third of America couldn't care less about the revolution at the time? Auspicious start for the United States electorate.
I've noticed that younger people generally say "couldn't care less" while older people say "could care less". I think the former is more correct, and that thieving old people should die of food poisoning from Old Country Buffet.
Challenging the "tyranny of the majority"? Is the Judge hinting at a coup at Fox?
Myh shoes tell my you have never wathced FW and are here to show off or somethign I dont' get u.
So long, Judge.
Nice speech. Too bad no one will do anything about it.
... Hobbit
The show's format was a failure; Stossel is next.
He needs to heed my advice 😉
Good interview, Nick. I never failed to watch his clips online, but my cable package doesn't have FBN.
exactly. The FBN isn't on basic and the 22 Lifetimes that are don't carry the Judge, i never see it air but always catch it on reason.tv
I have ended my subscription to Fox Buisness.I will take the Judge's advice and buy more gold and guns.
I'm confused -- there's no mention of the schedule change on the FBN website and the Judge is on right now doing a "special edition" on the warfare state...
At least our new insect overlords allowed him to tape a few more shows before showing him the door ??
Any word on what he'll be doing for FN/FBN ?
