    No Matt Damon?

    Spending is taxation.

    The money comes from somewhere.
    1. Open taxation.
    2. Borrowing, which is a tax on the future, both directly and indirectly
3.Inflation, which is a tax on holders/users of money and things with sticky prices (like labor).

"I don't want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub." - Grover Norquist

Grover is clearly an intellectual. You know who else is an intellectual? Yup, Dave Barry. I am not making this up.

Alyona's outfit was disappointingly blah in this video.

So were the Youtube commenter insights.

Matt, while you were on the show the 1980s called. They want their glasses back.

Dear police, I'd like to file a missing joke report. I fear it's been kidnapped.

Those galsses a very 21st centruy. I see them all the time.

Admittedly, every other time I've seen frames like those they're been on middle-aged lesbians, but still.

    3. Chinese   14 years ago

The shirt/tie combo is also horrible. That is all.

      I don't understand

  9. Stormy Dragon   14 years ago

How low is this show's budget? Apparently they couldn't even afford a second chair.

  10. Robert   14 years ago

Wow, Grover Norquist has lost weight and generally looks yonger now. I actually kind of liked his old look. Maybe he just wasn't smiling enough in the video.

Anyway, Mr. Norquist succeeds for a more general reason than Mr. Welch gave. He has a good sense of just how far he can take things and keep a solid coalition together. He maintains momentum largely by avoiding setbacks.
