My respect for Napolitano dropped in to the toilet when I recently found him plugging Alex Jones and trutherism about building 7.

What a huge disappointment.

After reading his statement I find it pretty tame.

All he said was that the government story was not accurate.

Hell i know Oswald killed Kennedy...I also know the government story about it was not accurate. Every story the government gives about any things is not accurate. It takes zero paranoia to come to this conclusion.

He said -specifically- "it's hard for me to believe that it [building 7] came down by itself."

Aside from the fact that it didn't "come down by itself" (it came down because it was showered in debris from the WTC buildings which started a massive internal fire visible in all of the pictures) his argument that it's "the government" that is telling a falsehood is ridiculous for the reason that it isn't just "the government" supplying answers. It's thousands of engineers and construction experts and fire forensics and firsthand eyewitnesses that are supplying answers, but because there answers are the same as "the government" the Judge acts all mysterious and insightful for remaining in disbelief.

It's just pathetically stupid and beneath contempt. For a guy like Napolitano who argues so well in defense of individual liberty it really disappoints me that he relinquishes reason when it comes to building 7.

the cause of it coming down could have been anything from spotty construction to our government intentionally taking it down for safety issues and for some reason not telling us about it to a Zionist conspiracy. He did not fill in the blank. if he had filled in that blank with some bullshit about Bush or Jews then you would have a case.

He did not so you do not.

The cause of the collapse of building 7 is well known and agreed upon by thousands of experts who have reviewed the available evidence. There remains a debate about what was the bigger influence in causing the building to collapse between the buildings unusual construction (the columns near the visible kinks were carrying exceptionally large loads, roughly 2000 sq. ft. of floor area for each floor.), the damage to the building by the falling towers ("On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom?approximately 10 stories?about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out"), and the massive internal fire fed by the diesel lines in the building (a generator on the fifth floor was connected to a large tank in the basement via a pressurized line, which fed the fire continuously).

The fact that Napolitano disregards reason by doubting the conclusions reached by hundreds of experts who investigated the collapse from basement to penthouse in excruciating detail simply because this is also the opinion of "the government" is because he is being ignorant or just an asshole. I let you decide.

He did not fill in the blank. if he had filled in that blank with some bullshit about Bush or Jews then you would have a case.

This makes him an even bigger asshole, because again he makes no attempt to rebut the available conclusions made by the experts, but instead states that "I don't think it came down by itself" without offering an alternative explanation. This leans more towards the "asshole" side.

It should also be noted that this statement in a strict reading of it is absolutely correct.

The building did not come down by itself. I came down because two airplanes rammed into two building right next to it caught on fire and caused a big fucking mess of falling debris.
