Everyone thinks that anyone with a brain must agree with them--liberals, conservatives, libertarian--you name it.
They are all equally convinced that anyone who disagrees with them is a worthless excuse for a human being.
Any participation on my part won't change the political system in any way or how others choose to participate.
Why should I care about politics at all?
Planting a few surplus nukes 5 - 10 miles deep on the San Andreas fault could save the US billions and billions of dollars.
Even more if Nancy Pelosi were tied to one of them.

California gives us Pelosi and Maxine "socialize your company" Waters and THEY WANT A FREAKING BAILOUT?
Tell you what Cali, get rid of these two and we'll talk. Until then, you pooped in your own bed, you can lie in it. The rest of the country is tired of listening to the ingrates you send to washington.

Dude? You okay?
For those who might wonder, "Spiny Norman"s comment was a reply to a troll post by "Pussee Munster" that appears to have been removed by the webmaster.
I definitely prefer THE COMMANDER to Pussee Munster.

Every time they asked her about whether cutting the budget would cause a depression or some kind of financial crisis in California, I was thinking "Why doesn't she just spit it out? She should be asking 'What do you think they're in now!?'" The damage is done. A bailout isn't going to fix anything.
Also, on a more personal note, very little if any of the money one sees going to these states in a bailout ever gets to those poor suffering people the media are always showing us when spending is cut. The vast majority of the money always goes to line the pockets of the very politicians and public union parasites who deserve to suffer the most for getting their state into this mess in the first place.
Any chance the R's will run against California in '12?
Are you guys ever gonna post the clip of Welch chirping in his mouth during an appearance on Fox?
The solution is so simple: STOP SPENDING MORE MONEY THAN YOU TAKE IN. Jebus, it's not rocket surgery. I live in California and I hope the feds tell Arnie and/or Brown to go screw when they show up in D.C. with their hands out. The legislature is never going to fix the problem if the feds reward the behavior that caused the problem. Gotta lay off 20,000 or so state employees? I don't see the downside is in that.
