It's my 2nd favorite catch-all phrase. The 1st is the one I came up with in a philosophy paper freshman year of college and worked into every single academic paper I ever wrote as a running joke.

My freshman writing seminar instructor spent a very long time on the first day of class explaining to people who were there hoping to get into the class despite it already having been filled that there was a "hard cap" on the number of people in the class and that they shouldn't be there. The phrase was repeated so many times that it became hilarious among the students, and I worked it into every paper for that class. I'm not sure if the instructor noticed, but I got an A.
