"I don't think me Mum will like the part about the heroin."
With Malcolm McLaren in the grave, Roger Ebert gives his account of Who Killed Bambi?, the aborted Sex Pistols picture that was to be scripted by Ebert and directed by Russ Meyer.
Bonus link: Tim Cavanaugh interviews Ebert about working with Meyer. The fact that Ebert refers to McLaren as "Malcolm McDowell" only enhances the conversation.

Uh, yeah, and some cretin wrote on the side of a building last night.
And a year or so ago someone pooped on the front porch.
Oh, and the Sex Pistols were something or other. Maybe it was them who pooped. Or wrote.
Or are they dead? Or am I confusing them with Boy what's-his-name? Is he still dead?
BTW, if you *ever* get the chance, watch "Bambi Meets Godzilla"

Roger Ebert was going to make a movie about the Sex Pistols? I think this is one case we can all agree that abortion is justified.
Dude, Ebert wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls with Russ Meyer. That is some entertaining shit. It's entirely likely that an Ebert movie about the Sex Pistols would have been good.
"I've got a couple of big-titted London girls already in mind."
Now that's a movie pitch.
You will drink the black sperm of my vengeance, peachy.
Black Seeds of Vengeance
I'd prefer a big-titted London girl, if it's all the same to you. But I'm sure you can find someone around here to take you up on the original offer...
Dude, this is my happening and it freaks me out!
Always run from the tripper swinging a sword.
And Sting was actually cast in "Who Killed Bambi", which adds to the sense of loss that it was never made.
Yeah, maybe one of the Pistols could have killed him and spared us all a few years of Sting's ego in regalia.
