  2. Suki   16 years ago

Ok Mister Smartie. Danica Patrick starts in an ARCA NASCAR race this weekend.

    1. domoarrigato   16 years ago

      is that pic actually Danica?

      1. Rich   16 years ago

FWIW, Suki has superpowers enabling her to morph into a Caucasian.

        1. Suki   16 years ago

I will neither confirm nor deny my actual morphing abilities and let the rumors go where they may.

      2. Suki   16 years ago

Yes, it is Danica in a modeling picture. I did not impersonate her

    2. heller   16 years ago

      BOING!

    3. wylie   16 years ago

      Good morning Suki.

  3. Fist of Etiquette   16 years ago

Reid is trying to give me autism here, right?

  4. jester   16 years ago

Godhead, junta, triumvirate or troika? Just what should we call this governing trio? And why is the articulate negro off to the side and behind?

    1. cmace   16 years ago

Isn't it Frankenstein in the back? Is it about reviving health care?

    2. BakedPenguin   16 years ago

Obama hasn't exactly been leading the charge for health care. He's let his congressional pals do the heavy lifting.

    3. Plague Dog   16 years ago

I believe 'Clusterfuck' is the technical term.

    4. Joette   16 years ago

He's upstage left. According to Slate that's a position of power!

  5. Ska   16 years ago

    Pelosi is teh skelz0r.

  6. FrBunny   16 years ago

Obama is in Starfleet? You go too far!

  7. P Brooks   16 years ago

    Nice artwork.

  8. SugarFree   16 years ago

I will admit to having that exact nightmare. Kudos.

  9. Ratko   16 years ago

The drawing makes Nasty Palosi look almost human.

  10. Warren   16 years ago

Zombie Palosi (has a nice ring to it) looks funny.

But I don't know. I've seen one panel cartoons that don't suck. Just not on reason.com

  11. BladeDoc   16 years ago

You're going to feel a little prick here. And that'll be me.

  12. kate   16 years ago

I'm getting a Jacob's Ladder vibe from this.

  13. DADIODADDY   16 years ago

    Pelosi never looked that good...

  14. Marc   16 years ago

It is nightmarish, thereby offering a certain amount of win.

  15. Horde4Lyfe   16 years ago

    "Just a little pin prick
    There'll be no more...aaaaaaaah!
But you might feel a little sick"

  16. charles barlow   16 years ago

"You can trust me, I'm a Democrat. Now drop your pants and bend over."

  17. Kitty Antonik Wakfer   16 years ago

Democratic governments (of any political party) are famous for the attitude of "trust us" - *they* know better than the individual regarding decisions affecting him/her. Best if the individual questioned the assumption that governments are even a necessary evil in this age of possible Social Preferencing of all by all.

My only point is that if you take the Bible straight, as I'm sure many of Reasons readers do, you will see a lot of the Old Testament stuff as absolutely insane. Even some cursory knowledge of Hebrew and doing some mathematics and logic will tell you that you really won't get the full deal by just doing regular skill english reading for those books. In other words, there's more to the books of the Bible than most will ever grasp. I'm not concerned that Mr. Crumb will go to hell or anything crazy like that! It's just that he, like many types of religionists, seems to take it literally, take it straight...the Bible's books were not written by straight laced divinity students in 3 piece suits who white wash religious beliefs as if God made them with clothes on...the Bible's books were written by people with very different mindsets...in order to really get the Books of the Bible, you have to cultivate such a mindset, it's literally a labyrinth, that's no joke.
