Yet Another Dispatch From the Budgepocalypse Lookout Post

The first sentence from the Congressional Budget Office's hot-off-the-presses Monthly Budget Review:

The federal government incurred a budget deficit of $434 billion in the first four months of fiscal year 2010, CBO estimates, almost $40 billion more than the shortfall recorded in the same period last year.

The CBO uses the word "unsustainable" for a reason. If Roland Emmerich directed a movie about the budget, I'm guessing this is what the first act would look like.
