What Would Fred Scuttle Say?
The Benny Hill showed aired on ITV in Great Britain for 20 years, so when the Royal Mail decided to issue stamps to commemorate ITV's 50th anniversary, one dedicated to Hill seemed natural. But the Royal Mail rejected a stamp honoring Hill, claiming his bawdy humor was "in direct opposition" to the mail's policies on sexual harassment.
