You Know It's a Recession When the Larry Craig Bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport is Tanking as a Tourist Destination
From the AP, via Fark:
The men's room at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where Republican Sen. Larry Craig was arrested in a sex sting is losing it appeal as a tourist stop, an official said.
"We're getting there," said Patrick Hogan, director of public affairs for the Metropolitan Airports Commission. "I think we'll all be glad when there's no special interest in that restroom."

Surprised he didn't add "and he needs discipline!"
Way to steal last week's Fark headline.

To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness.
Happy Kwanzaa!

You can say that again.

See, that's the thing that drives me nuts about these guys. It's not the gay, it's the sanctimony.
Hey, that sounds like it could work on a bumper sticker.
Hungry Hungry Hypocrat.
Poor Larry. As an attorney, he should have known better than to plead guilty. He would have simply won the case. From what I've heard of the tape and the case, they really don't have a case against anyone that they charge on conspiracy to solicit sex .
I think they should take the bathroom out and move it into its own exhibit at the National Museum of American History. With wax figures appropriately posed.
Every time I walk into a public men's room in an airport or Home Depot I wonder who died in there.

I never understood why people would call Larry Craig a homosexual. I'd have called him a coprophile, as it is more befitting of a public restroom.

What about the privacy rights of the person in the stall next to him? Craig was the one engaging in interstall commerce.
