"Chain of Fools"
Right. Is that the best song you can play in between speeches by Tom Daschle and Bill Clinton?
Five long years I thought you were my man
But I found out I'm just a link in your chain
You got me where you want me
I ain't nothing but your fool
You treated me mean oh you treated me cruel
Chain, chain, chain, chain of fools
Unless it's about George W. Bush (this is the party that said "four more months" in reference to next January, so "five years" might mean "seven") I have to say I don't get it.

... of course it's about George W. Bush. It wasn't obvious??
No way that's obvious. I heard Chain of Fools, and immediately thought the band was just poking fun at the chain of politicians being ponied across the stage.
The fact that they played "Addicted to Love" after Bill Clinton's speech all but confirms the band was having some fun at the Dems' expense.
