Hillary and the Holy Ghost
"I have had the experiences on many, many occasions where I felt like the Holy Spirit was there with me as I made a journey…You know, it could be walking in the woods. It could be watching a sunset."—Sen. Hillary Clinton.
More here, in a Wall Street Journal col by Daniel Henninger which is mostly about "culture war" stuff. (The only truly indispensable resource on culture war stuff, by the way, is Morris P. Fiorina's Culture War?: The Myth of a Polarized America.)

I have had the experiences on many, many occasions where I felt like the Holy Spirit was there with me as I made a journey...You know, it could be walking in the woods. It could be watching a sunset.
i don't know which would be worse if a possible commander in chief actually believes this or that so many people eat this shit up.
LEEEAVE HILLARY ALLLLLONE!.....Please.
How friggin dare anyone out there make fun of Hillary after all she has been through. She lost her free house, she went through an impeachment. She has one friggin kid. Her husband turned out to be a user, a cheater, and now shes going through a political battle. All you people care about is..... readers and making money off of her. SHE'S A HUMAN! What you don't realize is that Hillary is making you all this money and all you do is write a bunch of crap about her. She hasn't performed on stage in days. Her song is called "give me more" for a reason because all you people want is MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE. LEAVE HER ALONE! You are lucky she even performed for you BASTARDS! LEEEAVE HILLARY ALLLLLONE!.....Please. Paris Hilton talked about professionalism and said if Hillary was a professional she would've pulled it off no matter what. Speaking of professionalism, when is it professional to publically bash someone who is going through a hard time? Leave Hillary Alone Please.... Leave Hillary Clinton alone...right now! I mean it. Anyone that has a problem with her you deal with me, beacuse she is not well right now. leave her alone!

I certainly hope mescaline was involved.
Well it's Friday and that picture is just crying for a caption contest.
OK, now what do I do? Little sips? No?
If y'all don't know, the worst disaster since 9/11 happened early this AM.
The State represented by Sen. Obama and birthplace of Sen. Clinton was destroyed by a massive 5.4 earthquake this AM.
Experts say the Bush policy on climate change was a contributing factor, especially with the fact that no Republican presidential candidate has any ties to Illinois.
Experts (different ones) confirm that the most recent Space Shuttle mission upgraded key technology on the International Space Station that could have been used to induce a New Madrid fault quake.
Analysts are asking: What did the administration know and when did they know it?
The civilized part of the world is laughing at us.
But does she swallow?
The civilized part of the world Southeastern USA is laughing at us.
Fixed 🙂
And what are we to make of the fact that temblors were felt in the neighboring state of Kentucky, which the earthquake didn't hit at all? And the Pentagon suffered a foundation crack that was just too small for an earthquake to have done.
She's so genuine and connected with the common man!

Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton later cracked a cuestick over the head of a patron who looks like Monica Lewinsky.
And the Pentagon suffered a foundation crack that was just too small for an earthquake to have done.
That's what that was? I thought it was the remodeling crew goofing off.
Rothbard's essay on hillary Clinton is kind of appropriate here:
He wrote that in 1994 right before his death. And I think it is relevant today.

Here's mud in my snatch.
CAPTION CONTEST
"See guys. With these new, little glasses, everyone gets equal amounts. Now about my healthcare plan..."
I typed a caption, previewed it, saw Jamie Kelly's entry, and promptly deleted mine. I can't beat that one.

To the glorious revolution, comrades!
"Come on guys - you better keep 'em coming if you're hoping to pull a train on this presidential candidate."
javier,
i don't know which would be worse if a possible commander in chief actually believes this or that so many people eat this shit u
Given the mayhem wreaked by atheist in power from the French Revolution all the way up to present day Communist hold outs, I am not sure we atheist have any right to mock political leaders who espouse religion.
Frankly, I rather like the idea that an individual who wields the power of the American presidency is restrained by the idea of supernatural oversight and punishment. Religion functions like precedence in law, keeping any one individual or generation from going to crazy.

Yeah, yeah. We get it. You're not one of those evil atheists. I really don't give a good goddam.
what the hell..

Or that a possible commander in chief is so shallow, cynical, self-absorbed, condescending, and maniacally ambitious that she will spout obvious garbage like this and assume everyone will buy it.
Pardon me, that should be "all three of our potential commanders in chief" . . .
"OK, now what do I do? Little sips?"
I like that one, without the "no." It's simple, spare, and amusing.
For some reason, I thought the 'Being Guided by Holy Spirit', like Marian Devotion, was a Catholic thing, and most Protestant Sects, even mainline ones, weren't fans of such 'papist nonsense.'
"Come on guys - you better keep 'em coming if you're hoping to pull a train on this presidential candidate."
More like:
"I better keep these guys pounding the shots if I have any hope of getting lucky tonight."
Man, if you can't even look at Hillary Clinton without thinking about sex, how do you get through the day in a modern workplace?
Caption Contest = Hmmm, something about Hillary Clinton and sex.
Weird.
Shannon Love,
Frankly, I rather like the idea that an individual who wields the power of the American presidency is restrained by the idea of supernatural oversight and punishment.
Yeah, because you know, imagine how unrestrained Philip II would have been if he didn't think God was watching over his shoulder. I mean, old Philip might have have put up a 50,000 crowns reward on William I's head.
This is illustrates the rather obvious fact proven time and time again throughout the historical record that religion is in no way a guarantee against bad behavior and indeed can encourage bad behavior.

Prolefeed,
She was in Crown Point Indiana at Bronko's bar.
Crown Royal is fine, but if Hillary can handle a six-pack of Iron City, I'll give her some cred.
Guy your the BEST!!!
Hillary:

What about when she's lying her ass off?

How does a thread about Hillary Clinton feeling the presence of a holy spirit not produce a single Eleanor Roosevelt reference?
How does that happen?
The boys (or girls) all get prettier at closin' time
"For some reason, I thought the 'Being Guided by Holy Spirit', like Marian Devotion, was a Catholic thing, and most Protestant Sects, even mainline ones, weren't fans of such 'papist nonsense.'"
No, lots of Protestants talk a lot about the Holy Spirit.
As for the caption:
Hillary: "Wow, you know, maybe the stuff I've been saying really *is* true."
Bartender: "OK, Hillary, you've had enough."
"To a successful bukkake."
