There are only 4 senators who have voted to spend more money than Obama! And if you dig economic liberty, Obama is really bad news.

If McCain wasn't such a warmonger, or it didn't matter that he is such a warmonger, I might, despite his molestation on the 1st amendment, really root for him to beat Obama. Check out that John McCain voted to spend less money than all but 5 senators.

Some libertarians also seem to think that those who cross the border should have full privileges of citizenship including voting. I think every massive increase in suffrage has led to more socialism since most voting is of the "give me free crap" kind. Amnesty would have the same problem -- a sudden 12 million+ potential voters wanting more free stuff. Voting is a use of force, and it shouldn't be given away so easily.

I am all for 2nd ammendment. I am also against the war on drugs. However those two issues are not at the top of my list when it comes to civil liberties. It would be nice if we could have a candidate who satisfied all of our requirnments, but we do not have that luxury.

I dig economic liberty as much as any other kind of liberty, but after eight years of war mongers and bigots in power, I would have to place a greater importance on social liberties. I know it sucks, but unfortunately we only have the chance to choose the lesser of two evils.

I voted for Obama in TX primary and plan to caucus for him on March 4. This is the first time that I place my support behind a candidate from either of the two major parties.

for any reason-er to drop ron paul support cause of the newsletters story is a touch hypocritical and insincere considering i learned about those newsletters months prior to the new republic piece from a link on hit and run. there's no way any of these guys could have not know about it before it became a "big" deal.

it was nice seeing you on tucker. i watch the show on a regular basis and think it's a really good news program. i encourage libertarian leaners to watch the show cause tucker has a lot of attractive opinions in that way and he's not as annoying as people think he is. i didn't watch him before he came to msnbc so i don't know how bad he was when jon stewert made him look like a fool on crossfire but i think stewert is the arrogant one these days and tuckers a bit misunderstood. for liberals to lump him in with the o'reillys and the hannitys and rushes is a bit ridiculus and shows they've never listened to him much.
