Dreaming of Ron
Here's a video from a simpler time—about five days ago. Two nights before the New Hampshire primary I walked outside Murphy's Taproom for some fresh air and bumped into a throng of Ron Paul supporters doing the same thing. The passionate conversation between Drew Rushford, Andrew Wyndham and Nick Ramaglia was so interesting that I taped it and uploaded it here.

Anyone else kinda creeped out watching grown men enthusiastically gab about "what He would want"?
Can politics and idolatry be kept separate? Discuss...
"He envisaged this... all these people coming together."
That sort of stuff works so much better after the crucifixion... oh right, sorry, my bad.

Well, Ron is getting crucified right now in some other threads so you might be on to something.
I don't know, in some sense it's heartwarming. It's also strange when a prophet teaches independence and the followers respond by speculating about what he'd want them to do next.
"You are all individuals!"
"I'm not like everybody else!"

"One man pervades us, you know..."
Perhaps part of it is shock and disillusionment. For myself, I'd love to see him make a stronger repudiation statement, disown whoever wrote this, and try to turn this into a positive by continuing to discuss issues like the WoD & the death penalty.
"We all knew this wasn't going to fly!"
"You are all individuals!"
I'm not.
As He has mentioned mentioned many times before, "I have my shortcomings" and "this is not about me"

Inspiring. Did he say anything else? What about the future, what does the future hold?
"You are all individuals!"
Sandy:
I'm not.
It woulda been funnier if you answered:
"We're not."
Not true-but funnier.
...Not that it wasn't funny. I'm thinking in the Borg mode here.
