Radicals for Capitalism Hits the Capital: Today and Tomorrow!

|

Well, today's event is not technically in the capital city, but it is in the larger D.C. metro area….to recap: Today, Wednesday March 21, at 4 pm, I am speaking at the Public Choice Center Seminar series at George Mason University, said talk to focus on the relevance of economics and economists to the story told in my new book Radicals for Capitalism: A Freewheeling History of the Modern American Libertarian Movement. It is free and open to the public, and starts at 4 pm; location is Carow Hall on GMU's Fairfax campus.

Then tomorrow, Thursday March 22 at noon I'll be appearing at the Cato Institute for a noon book forum. I talk about the book; Washington Post columnist and Brookings Fellow E.J. Dionne comments; and David Boaz, author of Libertarianism: A Primer, moderates. Cato wants you to RSVP if you are planning on attending; you can do so here. Lunch is served after the talk. Cato's HQ is at 1000 Massachusetts Ave. NW in D.C.
