Why isn't anybody complaining about Gibson's androgynous Satan, an obvious attempt to convert decent heterosexual satanists to his gender-bending perspective?
The Muslim world wants to know how crowd control at the Christian event could be so lax as to allow this tragic loss of life. Why, if anything like this ever happened during the Haj, there would be thorough, top-level investigations leading to resignations, firings, and massive fines levied against those in charge of the event. That kind of thing could never happen in a civilized place.

I liked Gibson in "Air America". A movie with a real modern message.
Well... it is a snuff film...
dj of raleigh,
She's from Kansas and her name is Peggy Law, doesn't sound jewish to me. Check it out:

Dj, that's obvious...
cuz she went to heaven
M.Simon-
That movie rocks. Most people have never even seen it.
best scene- guy shooting the other guy's golf ball with a silencer. Why? He's considerate of his neighbors. hilarious.
I'm just waiting for the first report of a viewer developing stigmata - you KNOW it's coming.
For those of you keeping score, that's

There's another nobody?
Time to change my name again.

Whoa! Back the truck up there MK.
What is this "marijuana death" you speak of?
Didn't you hear about that middle-aged woman that smoked a phat chronic blunt before going to see some movie yesterday... gee what was its name again?
She's from Kansas and her name is Peggy Law, doesn't sound jewish to me.
Right, everyone knows that every single Jew has a name ending in -stein, -berg, -rosen, -stern, or some combination thereof.

They don't?!?! Well can't they just wear nifty identifying badges or something? *ducks*
That really was meant for the Adbusters thread, I swear...
P.S. Does that cound as a violation of Godwin's law?
> She's from Kansas and her name is Peggy Law, doesn't sound jewish to me.
Her name sounds Jewish to me....
Oh, someone, somewhere has dope listed on their death cert. Durning the days of "Reefer Madness" perhaps?
Besides, every great H&R thread needs to at least mention the hippie lettuce.
"She's from Kansas and her name is Peggy Law"
There are no Jews in Kansas?
*LOL*
Yes, she died, but I'm sure that she went straight to heaven.
I did. Having a wonderful time.
Wish you were here.
Based on the estimated gross receipts of yesterday's showing of "Passion", I would guess that somewhere around 2-2.5 million people spent roughly 4-5 million hours at the movie yesterday. Considering that the average American lives something less than 80 years, an average lifetime is about 700,000 hours. So, approximately 6-7 lifetimes were spent at the movie yesterday. Even if we assume that most people near death are not attending movies and that movies are disproportionately attended by youngsters in good health, the law of averages would suggest that death is not such a rare occurrence in screenings of popular movies. I am guessing that if someone died during a showing of almost any other movie that it would not be national news. "Passion" has been the beneficiary of an incredible amount of free publicity from its detractors.
Speaking of laughter (which I was over in the Bubba the Love Sponge thread)...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA to this thread here...
the hippie lettuce drop is leading punch line of 2004 for H&R, if you ask us
Excellent point, Kentin. I wonder how many people died when they found out that humans were just batteries in "The Matrix?" Or when they found out that Soylent Green was people? Or when they found out that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father? Important questions.

Screw you Joe, I was gonna see those movies this weekend and you just ruined them for me. Next your're gonna tell me that Jesus comes back to life or something.
Something else to note. This story was from Reuters, and if ever there was a poster child for the liberal media, that's it.
Look, I flew over the place, and there's nothing but Jehovah's Witnesses there. And not too damn many of them, either.
Meanwhile, San Francisco prepares to be smote...

Is this just Jewish propaganda from Jewish Hollywood trying to keep us from spending money to see this movie??
I'm a Jew who has lived in Kansas. There are really no Jews there. People named Rosenberg in Kansas are actually Mennonites.
Well, it's been three days. Has anyone checked Ms. Law's mausoleum?
According to one source (http://www.kansas.com/mld/kansas/8049464.htm), preliminary indications are that she died of an enlarged heart. That sounds to me as if her death was just a coincidence of timing.
The Passion of The Christ is not just a movie. It is an experience. I was personally touched by the revelation of the love that God has for each one of us. The cost was definitely to high. It is not comprehendable. By no means is this movie what I would call a fun experience, but a life changing experience. We rented the entire theatre with 260 seats on Friday March 27th for the 7:00 showing. At the end we gave people a chance to respond and we saw almost fifty people accept Jesus Christ for the first time as their Lord and savior. The Holy Spirit has breathed on this film. Thanks for making Mel Gibson.
In Christ Matchless name,
Dennis Reanier
