Uhm... When I was 10, I had a Radio Shack ROBIE the robot that could be programmed to move without a radio control. It could go at least 300 yards on a charge. AND it could deliver drinks poolside.
And the less said about "huge air-powered balls" the better.
Haven't we had computer controlled autonomous cruise missles since the 60s? Or are they only concerned with ground vehicles?
