Economics has been described as the 'dismal science' . Today's economic hero is a 55 year old man , dying of cancer and having an expensive divorce. I see John Christy fits the bill perfectly. He seems to have omitted the cost of losing around 100,000 square miles of the USA bordering the sea.
A 7% reduction is well within reach for the USA without much effort. Most plant emitting greenhouse gases will require replacement by then anyway. Replacing it with more efficient equipment isn't hard. Even us Europeans manage.
Did anybody notice the cost of phasing out CFC's in the USA? No, I thought not. Snort.
