Increase in Shootings Lead To Calls For Stop-and-Frisk To Be Reinstated in NYC

The surge in shootings since a federal judge ruled against stop-and-frisk is more than a statistic to those affected by the gunfire.

Jorge Alvarez, 44, was shot in both legs when he was caught in the crossfire between two drug gangs on Aug. 13, one day after Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindlin ruled the NYPD’s use of stop-and-frisk unconstitutional.

Yes, on the basis of a few shootings lets suspend parts of the Constitution.

Right ..... when there's a several decade correlation between more guns and less crime, it's just voodoo statistics and so much nonsense. When there's an increase in crime ONE DAY after stop and frisk is called unconstitutional, BUT NOT STOPPED, that's statistical certainty.
