'Pot Mom' Released on Bail

Accused of running multi-million dollar marijuana operation

Andrea Sanderlin, the New York mother of two accused of running a multimillion-dollar marijuana enterprise, was released on bail today as she awaits trial on federal drug charges.

Sanderlin, 45, of Scarsdale, N.Y., who has been called "pot mom" in the media since her arrest more than a month ago, was released from jail on a $500,000 bond, pending her father, stepmother and paternal grandmother of her children signing the bond.

As part of her release, Sanderlin will stay at the Manhattan apartment of her children's grandparents under electronic monitoring as she awaits trial. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 15.
