7/15/1819: John Marshall publishes defense of McCulloch v. Maryland in the Alexandria Gazette under the pseudonym "A Friend of the Constitution."

If this blog was around in 1819, many people around here would have opposed that ruling.
Yesterday's date in SCOTUS history was President Ford's birthday because he nominated Stevens. Ford later referenced how proud he was of the nomination.
I also came upon this:
