We can also hear the oral argument. Thurgood Marshall at one point noted:
I worry about the white children in Little Rock who are told as young people that the way to get your rights is to violate the law and defy the lawful authorities.
I'm worried about their future.
I still worry.

9/12/17 was a big day for orders. Orders were handed down in respect to Trump v. Hawaii (stay of mandate granted), an execution (denied), and Texas restricting (conservatives grant stay).
Aaron v. Cooper, 358 U.S. 1 (decided September 12, 1958): in a per curiam decision issued quickly due to the school year beginning, the Court affirms the Circuit Court’s order desegregating Little Rock High School, overriding opposition of the Governor and State Legislature (the full opinion, unanimous, came down on Sept. 29, also 358 U.S. 1)
I have Springsteen tickets. I've tried, but he's my cup of tea. Still, I expect the performance will be good.
I hung out with the college radio station crowd when I was in grad school in the Bay Area, and so went to a lot of pretty weird indie bands, which tended too gimicky for my taste.
My basic ass really enjoyed seeing Third Eye Blind with Eve6 opening back in the 90s, that was a great performance and has managed to elevate their music in my ears ever since.
I was not yet born, but my favorite band is S&G and Concert in Central Park remains a banger I haul out sometimes when I want a change of pace in my background noise when working from home.
