Let me see if I understand religion. Give us your money today. You will be rewarded after you die. That is a good one immunized in the constitution.
Yet as an atheist, I do not bash religion. Religious people like me because I respect religion. They pray for me. It is 100 times more effective at getting people to act nice as the law. Religious societies are prosperous. Religious people built the Pyramids. Even today they attract $5 billion in tourism to Egypt. So I have no problem with religion.
Not to be confused with the appeal over a frozen dessert spilled on a painting, Sherbert v. Vermeer.
