61 Days Later, Biden Administration Releases 490-Page OSHA Mandate
I suspect complaints will be filed soon across the country.
On September 9, President Biden called on OSHA to implement a vaccine mandate for employers. In the ensuing days, I wrote several blog posts that parsed a non-existent rule (1, 2, 3, and 4). I fully expected the rule to be issued imminently, which would trigger a mad dash to the courts. Sixty-one days later, we have a rule in the Federal Register. It is 490 pages, including the preamble. It will be published tomorrow, November 5. No, I have not read it yet. OSHA has also released an FAQ page.
Stay tuned. Complaints will be filed very soon.

That prediction seems reliable.
If anyone is plugged into the world of virus-flouting, superstition-wielding, disaffected, anti-social clingers, it is Prof. Blackman of the South Texas College Of Law Houston.
Well, we managed to get almost two years of leaving it to states, merely recommending actions, before granting the national executive extraordinary emergency powers.
I got my vaccine, but see no reason to cheer this. It serves those in power to have you think of the federal governmenr as your one and only attack dog family.
No evidence from history that is a problem.
Who "granted" what?
Perhaps reasoning, educated, experienced people concluded that the poor judgment, bad conduct, and anti-social belligerence of too many Americans -- who tend to be poorly educated, selfish, superstitious, and disaffected -- have needlessly and unreasonably prolonged a pandemic. Perhaps better Americans no longer wish to appease the virus-flouting, belligerently ignorant losers.
I do not expect many clingers to apprehend this point.

cue that soundtrack . . .
I wonder if there's some causal relationship between "Complaints will be filed very soon." and how long it took to write this thing and how many pages it is?

How typical of JB to write a post with no actual content.
Published on the Fifth of November you say?
I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense.
