Stanley was free, but he caught hell from Mrs. Stanley. Not only did she burn the tapes, but whenever the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue came in, she made him paste photos of her face onto all the models.
Right to porn case. Likely a major factor in the later growth of the internet, as an unintended benefit to commerce and to technology. Porn, including child porn, has been associated with significant drops in sex crimes against real women and real children, like 85%. This decision benefited sex crime victims greatly, in the face of the meteoric rise of other violent crime during that time.

Mother was telling me about trouble keeping her 13 year old son off porn, but his personal hygiene is now perfect. He should understand those depictions are as fanciful as any Star Wars story.
So Stanley got off, which was all he ever wanted anyway.

The caption says "The Warren Court (1969)," except that's not Earl Warren sitting where Burger sits.
