" . . . and I swear never to assign an important majority opinion to Clarence Thomas . . . " (words added by Rehnquist)
A date which will live in infamy.
We better get ACB on there before the election otherwise Roberts will steal it for Biden.
Second Amendment wimp out in chief.
Yet another Harvard Law indoctrinated adherent to big government, little tyranny, another schmuck who knows nothing about nothing, an idiot savant, good at memorizing books.
Justices should be impeached for their decisions.
If you look really closely, you can see the strings...
The rage and conspiracies from the outcome-oriented right here is pretty crazy.
No, it's because Roberts' apparent changing of his mind part way through the process, based on the kookiest logic led many, on both sides of the aisle, to presume that he made some kind of deal, or that someone had undo leverage on him.
From:
The Inside Story on How Roberts Changed His Supreme Court Vote on Obamacare, Avik Roy, Forbes staff
"...he invented out of whole cloth a new definition of taxation that contravenes long-standing precedent. He added hundreds of billions of dollars to the federal deficit, by way of his Medicaid ruling. And he forever tarnished his legacy as a Justice, and his promise to the nation that he would serve as an umpire, and “remember that it’s my job to call balls and strikes, and not to pitch or bat.”"
No, it's the outcome. Don't pretend otherwise.
A big disappointment for conservatives.
If conservatives dislike him because of some decisions, and liberals dislike because of some decisions, then he must be doing something right.
