12/28/1856: President Woodrow Wilson's birthday. His administration would initiate the prosecutions under the Sedition Act that gave rise to Schenck v. U.S., Debs v. U.S., and Abrams v. U.S.

Uh, why is Woodrow Wilson's birthday considered part of the Supreme Court's history, when he never was a justice? Because he appointed Louis Brandeis, the first Jewish justice in American history? Well, maybe it is appropriate.
