Beta testing Facebook's censorship engine
Day 2
My latest Facebook post:
Day 2. I'm posting a link to an Infowars story taken from CNBC and headlined "JOBS SURGE, UNEMPLOYMENT FALLS TO LOWEST SINCE 1969." https://www.infowars.com/jobs-surge-unemployment-falls-to-…/ Unlike last time, though, the link does not end at Infowars's landing page. Could it be that I'm inadvertently helping to beta test Facebook's censorship engine?

Mr. Baker:
Are you an active member of the Volokh Conspiracy's Board of Censorship or merely an appeaser of viewpoint-based censorship?
Thank you.
(Asking for Artie Ray Lee Wayne Jim-Bob, who was banned by the Volokh Conspiracy)
Knowing the Dear Rev only from his posts here, and extrapolating to his friends, I will guess ARLWJ-B simply forgot his password.
Hey Kirkland, did you cancel your subscription to the New York Times after they incited the shooting, or are you still supporting that?
There it is. The stupidest thing I’ll read all day.
But not reckless, right?
I wouldn't read my own posts if I was you either regexp.
FFS TiP. Was that just needling, or have you gone that far around the bend?
You didn't used to be so talk radio.
Hey, I thought the link to incitement was clear.

Another excellent detailed and relevant piece by Stewart Baker.
/sarcasm
What exactly does this guy do to warrant space here?
Exacerbate your delusions of self-importance.
Save the rest of the VC from creating a sock puppet to espouse stupid statist positions.
Different test: I went to
https://www.facebook.com/stewart.a.baker
and got: The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.
To further test whether the FB engineers were being subtle and clever, blocking access to members of the public but not me, I tried clicking the link from a machine never registered with FB. Facebook wouldn't give me access to the post unless I opened an account, which I did, separate from my usual account. Once I'd done that, the link worked. Can you check again to see if we can figure out what happened?
Link worked for me. If they are breaking links to the page for the public without breaking it for me, that would be clever and subtle.
