Geographic Area No. 12
Many American court systems are divided into numbered circuits (the federal system is a classic example) or districts. In Texas, they dispense with both "circuit" and "district" and instead talk of, say, the Fifth Court of Appeals. But I just learned that Connecticut Superior Courts are broken down into Geographic Areas, as in Geographical Area No. 12 at Manchester. Sounds a little Hunger-Games-y to my ears, but I suppose that's largely because it's unfamiliar.
