Yale Law School Professor Jack Balkin interviews me about my new book "The Grasping Hand"
At the Balkinization blog, Yale Law School Professor Jack Balkin has posted Part I of an in-depth interview with me about my new book The Grasping Hand: Kelo v. City of New London and the Limits of Eminent Domain.
Balkin is one of the nation's leading constitutional law scholars, and he asked many insightful questions. Part II (which delves more deeply into the constitutional issues) will appear tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I will also be speaking about the book at a conference on the tenth anniversary of Kelo at the Cato Institute, where I will speak on the same panel as the lawyers who represented both sides in the Kelo case before the Supreme Court.
