Thanks from me, and from Ferris Bueller, for help with the SEIU v. Professional Janitorial Service case

|

I blogged about the case last week, and explained the Ferris Bueller connection (which came through the dissent from denial of review written by Justice Don Willett, not from our briefs). But I also wanted to thank everyone who helped with the case:

  1. Cam Barker of YetterColeman LLP, who is also about to start work as Deputy SG in the Texas Solicitor General's office.
  2. Cam's colleague Chris Ward, who was ready to step in as local counsel after Cam moved to the SG's office.
  3. Tom Goldstein at SCOTUSblog, Don Cruse at the Supreme Court of Texas Blog, Howard Bashman at How Appealing, Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit, and Steven F. Hayward, John H. Hinderaker, and Scott W. Johnson at Power Line, who signed the brief (either individually or on behalf of their blogs).
  4. My UCLA First Amendment Amicus Brief Clinic students Nate Barrett, Garry Padrta, Scott Sia, and Mairead Dolan, who worked on the briefs.

I very much appreciate everyone's contributions!
