Brickbat: Banned in China

CrucifixDjedzura | DreamstimeOfficials in three Chinese provinces have expelled about a thousand South Korean missionaries and pastors and closed down their churches. They gave no reason for the crackdown but new tougher regulation of religious activities is scheduled to take effect next year.

    What a way to bury the lede! A Baltimore police officer is being praised by the department for de-escalating a situation in which a man with a knife appeared to be trying to provoke police into shooting him. Not fired, not disciplined, praised. Who'da thunk it!
