"Concerns were expressed to us that their presence was making our vampire community feel unsafe, and after consulting with local LGVT (Lamia Goth Vampire Transfusioner) activists we felt obligated to no longer allow a platform for expression and activity that could be construed as hateful or threatening."

What a way to bury the lede! A Baltimore police officer is being praised by the department for de-escalating a situation in which a man with a knife appeared to be trying to provoke police into shooting him. Not fired, not disciplined, praised. Who'da thunk it!

And in Baltimore of all places.

    2. Hank Stamper   8 years ago

Excellent! Glad to know that there are some good cops who want to protect and serve (especially in Baltimore).

I just sent an e-mail praising Officer Villaronga to his department via this link.
