"If I heard that a UN peacekeeping mission was coming near my home in Chattanooga," [US Senator Bob Corker] told AP, "I'd be on the first plane out of here to go back and protect my family."

    Seems rather racist.

"We're from the UN, we're here to keep the peace, but we wanna GET a piece or five or seventy, for ourselves, too!"

(Can't keep no peace if I don't get no piece, right?)

UN peacekeeper (removes hat. Rings door bell): "Hi, we're from the UN peace keeping division. Erm, where do you keep the children? To, um, protect them'.

/giggles from other UN soldiers standing behind him.

Are they sure it was the UN? Have they checked Jeffrey Epstein's plane for blue helmets? I mean, with all that Clinton Foundation money eradicating poverty in Haiti, surely there had to be one or two fact finding missions.

"Legally, the UN is in a bind. It has no jurisdiction over peacekeepers, leaving punishment to the countries that contribute the troops."
Well, the way out of this "bind" (spelled BS) is to require jurisdiction over troops acting in the name of the UN. Any country that refuses should have its dues doubled, and voting rights suspended for a year. Or just give up on the proven den of inequity, move them to some other country, and sell the valuable New York real estate to pay reparations.

The way to get a lid on this is to withhold UN money from countries that don't clean up their act. The reason these third-world kleptocracies are sending troops to rape girls and wear blue helmets is to get money from the US and Western Europe.
