According to an internal United Nations report, 134 UN peacekeepers from Sri Lanka sexually abused children in Haiti. While 114 of them were sent home, none served any prison time for their crimes. There have been nearly 2,200 accusations of sexual abuse against UN peacekeepers in the last 12 years.

Well, the way out of this "bind" (spelled BS) is to require jurisdiction over troops acting in the name of the UN.
