Detroit Dog Rescue

Sir Wiggleton, also known as Diggy, spent 100 days in a shelter, and Detroit Dog Rescue was so happy when he was finally adopted, they posted a photo of him and his new owner on Facebook. The photo went viral and was picked up by a number of media outlets. That's how it came to the attention of the Waterford Township, Michigan, police. They sent two officers to the owner's home. They determined the dog as a pitbull, which is banned by the city. Officers say they plan to enforce the ban but won't say exactly what that means. Meanwhile, Detroit Dog Rescue says the dog isn't a pitbull.
