Intelligence Squared debate: Mass collection of U.S. phone records violates the Fourth Amendment
Intelligence Squared presented an excellent debate last week at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia—"Resolved: Mass collection of U.S. phone records violates the Fourth Amendment."
Arguing for the motion were Alex Abdo, staff attorney at the ACLU, and Elizabeth Wydra, chief counsel of the Constitutional Accountability Center. Arguing against the motion were John Yoo, professor of law at U.C. Berkeley, and our own Stewart Baker, Volokh Conspirator and former general counsel of the NSA.
