Publisher's Notes
• NEW EDITORS: We are delighted to announce the addition of two distinguished new contributing editors to our staff. Professor Henry G. Manne and Professor Eric Mack. Both Manne and Mack have contributed significant articles to REASON, and Manne was featured in REASON's spotlight in our May 1976 issue. Manne is director of the Law and Economics Center at the University of Miami Law School and is a prolific and influential author of books and articles. Mack teaches philosophy at Tulane University and recently studied as a fellow in philosophy at Harvard University. He has had two important papers published recently, "Distributionism Versus Justice," in Ethics, January 1976, and "Causing and Failing to Prevent," Southwestern Journal of Philosophy, Vol.2, No.1 (1976). REASON is honored to have these scholars join us.
• NEW FORMAT: In this month's issue we have inaugurated the initial phase of our new layout. Designed by our art director, Phil Groves, our new table of contents page and masthead and new article sequence will, we hope, enhance the readability of REASON. This issue will be the last to use the sans-serif type style, Univers, exclusively. Next month we will introduce a serif typeface, Century, which will be used for back-of-the-book features. We are interested in receiving comments from readers concerning their reaction to our new format.
