Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn Has Nearly 400 Bills To Sign, Veto, or Change This Month
One unsigned piece of legislation is a ban on minors using tanning salons
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. • Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn still has nearly 400 pieces of legislation to sign, veto or change — all before the end of the month.
The (Springfield) State Journal-Register says Illinois lawmakers passed nearly 600 bills during the spring session.
Some of the still-unsigned measures are for small changes to state law. Others have a higher profile.
