Ray Lewis Pushes Back Against Allegations of Performance Enhancing Drug Use
Blamed it on "cowards" while saying he's focused on the Baltimore Ravens' coming Super Bowl berth
Ray Lewis addressed further questions Wednesday about an accusation that he used a banned performance-enhancing substance to aid in his recovery from a torn triceps.
Lewis said he never took the deer antler spray that was alleged in the Sports Illustrated story released Tuesday. He blamed the story on "cowards" and said it wouldn't distract the Ravens as they prepare for the Super Bowl. He said he wasn't angry about the accusations but admitted he was "agitated."
