Yosemite Closes Tent Cabins over Hantavirus Concerns
Tents focal point of investigation
Yosemite National Park has closed 91 tent cabins that are the focal point of an investigation into the deaths of two visitors from the rare hantavirus.
The "signature" cabins have a double-walled design with insulation to keep them warmer in the winter.
The decision to close them came after crews found evidence of mouse activity between the insulation and the canvas, park ranger Jana McCabe said.
