A Wing and a Prayer

Wired News' Kim Zetter notes that a GAO report released Monday found that the Transportation Security Administration's passenger-profiling SecureFlight program (successor to CAPPS II) has met only one of the 10 congressionally-mandated criteria it's supposed to satisfy before its August rollout. The TSA spokeswoman says they're "on schedule"; the GAO's director of homeland secuity and justice issues is more cautious: "I wouldn't want to say it's impossible."
