Anonymous Threatens to Take Down Facebook

Has issued demands to game developer Zynga, which plans to lay off 1,000 workers

Hacking team Anonymous has issued a deadline of November 5th for Zynga to comply with its demands, or it'll take down Facebook and release Zynga's popular casual games for free.

The "beef" here lies with Zynga's plans to lay of 1,000 staff members and supposedly outsource more of its development and support work, despite having a rather robust financial position. In a since-removed YouTube video, Anonymous said: "With a billion dollars cash sitting in a bank we do believe that such actions are an insult to the population and the behaviour of corporations like Zynga must change."
