The Kids Dig Romney

The stiff Republican pulls a surprising 41 percent of the youth vote

Mitt Romney has surprisingly high support among young voters, a demographic that typically backs President Obama's, according to a new poll from JZ Analytics cited by The Washington Examiner.

According to John Zogby, JZ Analytics Managing Director, the presumptive GOP nominee received 41 percent of youth support, breaking the 40 percent threshold for the first time. Obama's youth support stands at 49 percent, far below the 66 percent of young voters who supported him in 2008.
