Brickbat: Jailhouse Rot
The Caddo Parish, Louisiana, Sheriff's Office fired Danny C. Taylor, a deputy who worked in the Caddo Correctional Center. Officials said Taylor told one inmate to walk into another inmate's cell and beat him up. Security video showed Taylor watching the attack without trying to stop it. Taylor now faces one count of second-degree battery and one count of malfeasance in office.

Prison is not meant to keep inmates in gem mint 10 condition, it is to keep inmates away from the rest of society.
What a stupid comment. You could at least have made it funny.
Poor Temu sarc.
Fight Club!
Oh, so now we're arresting Louisiana law enforcement for doing Louisiana law enforcement things? What's next? Hold Louisiana prosecutors to standards? Slippery slope.
I'm telling you. So long as the inmates/guards can physically interact with each other - so long as we stick with that dungeon-mentality prison system - these kinds of abuses will persist.
Modern up your thinking on the subject. Unless you want this to keep happening on account of being a sadistic jerk and/or an ACAB POS who depends on it for narrative.
Also sprach the 12th Century, girl-bullying, sharia law altruist totalitarian. Take heed...
See, now that's the kind of reply that someone who WANTS prison abuse to happen so he can find a reason to complain about LEOs would make.
Deputy Dawg is DEA material. The prohibitionist looters can send him to other people's countries--like Bolivia or Paraguay. Lousyanna Redneck boy can team up with Liliana Ayalde and, with suitcases of cash, say "let's you and him fight!"
There's a joke about psychiatric hospitals: "what's the difference between the patients and the psychiatrists? well, the psychiatrists get to go home at night."
Seems it applies to prisons.
There are rural areas where the only realistic career choices are working at the prison or crime. Young people have to choose one.
