Brickbat: Sticky Fingers

In New York, former Deputy Erie County Clerk Alexander McDougall received a prison sentence of between one year and four months, and four years. McDougall previously pleaded guilty to grand larceny and offering a false instrument, both felonies. Prosecutors said McDougall stole more than $320,000 by depositing county funds into his personal bank account.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Brickbats dried up in the last few days?

They used to be about someone dying or getting assaulted and the officials facing no consequences or shamefully pitiful consequences, but the last several have been "Officer faces 7 yrs. for beating up 3 people." and "Officer faces 4 yrs. for stealing $320k." and "Deputy fired for (non-sexually?) harassing women in rehab program."
